The Plug & Incentivized Goals
After completing a personalized Liberation Plan with their Liberation Coach, each young person is thoughtfully matched with a “Plug” — a trusted peer mentor who has lived expertise navigating foster care, juvenile justice, or related systems. Our mentoring model is built on real relationship, shared experience, and community care—not hierarchy.
Through this program, young people receive:
🌱 One-on-One Peer Support
Mentors offer ongoing encouragement, accountability, and guidance as youth work toward their goals, healing, and stability.
🎯 Goal Achievement + Incentive Pathways
We believe young people deserve to be celebrated—not punished—for growth. That’s why we provide stipends for active participation in the Love & Liberation program and additional incentives when youth reach the goals they set in their Liberation Plans. These may include milestones related to school, employment, healing, life skills, housing stability, or personal development.
🧩 A Circle of Support, Not a System
Our approach centers autonomy. Youth choose their goals, define what success looks like, and receive support—not pressure—as they move at their own pace. The Plug walks alongside them, helping remove barriers and celebrating each step forward.
💛 Community, Care, and Connection
The Love & Liberation program builds a network of young people supporting one another, creating a community where youth feel seen, valued, and truly believed in.
